Here are four malls/shopping centers worth a stop in Nassau County.

Roosevelt Field, 630 Old Country Rd., Garden City: Danielle C. of Santa Clara, Calif., said on Yelp, "The mall to end all malls. Seriously, this place has almost every store you can think of. The only thing that's missing would be Saks 5th Avenue and then you've won department store bingo. It already has a Macy's, Nordstrom, JCPenney, Bloomingdale's, and Neiman Marcus.

Amy H. of New York City, also in a Yelp post, called it "best mall ever. Holidays are so great here. Love to be here whole life lol. New stuff. Great people. Friendly service and staff. Amazing prices. Don't want to go home ever. Family best getaway. Food is great. Stores are the best. Kate Spade is here too. I (love) her. I paid my respect to her."

Green Acres, 2034 Green Acres Mall, Sunrise Highway, Valley Stream:

Sean P. of Queens, Queens on Yelp loves it. "This is a great mall! Each store has it's own parking lot which houses 100+ cars. There are a lot of stores to visit - from Best Buy and Macy's to JCPenney and Walmart. There is a store here that will have what you are looking for. The post mentions various options in the food court. "Overall a great mall that is continuously expanding," the review says.

Westfield Sunrise Mall, One Sunrise Mall, Massapequa:

In its heydey, reviewers say this was a glamorous destination and today with fewer crowds, Sunrise Mall attracts area residents for the ease of making shopping rounds.

Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa had JC Penney (now closed), Gertz (Later Stern's, now Sears), Macy's, and E.J. Korvette (later A & S (Abraham & Straus, then Sterns, then Walmart, now Dick's Sporting Goods and Dave & Busters's). the mall which opened in 1973 was remodeled in 1991 and acquired by the Westfield Group in 2005.

New there is Raymour & Flanigan Outlet and Davey & Busters among newcomers.

Says aprilplace5 on Facebook said, My sister and I actually enjoy coming to this mall and would go more often if we lived closer. What I like most is that the mall is not overcrowded like the other malls. You can shop with peace of mind, don’t have to stand on long lines or wait forever for a fitting room."

"This is a pretty decent mall, I will explain why: this place has many appealing stores including Macy's, HomeGoods, Sears, and what not period at the same time this place is relatively deserted, compared to the actual size of the mall. Barely any people go here, which you can use for your advantage! This mall has many of the stores found in Roosevelt Field Mall without the crowd," a Yelp reviewer said.

Broadway Commons, 358 N. Broadway, Hicksville:

Broadway Commons, locals still call by its former name Broadway Mall, when it was an open-air shopping center called the Mid-Island Shopping Plaza, has been an enclosed shopping center for a number of years with stores today including IKEA, Macy's and Target.

Frank T. of Merrick on Yelp says, "Not the largest mall but they do have a great selection of stores (Ikea, Target, Macy's, etc) and have evolved over time by now adding a Round 1 entertainment center. They have a good food court and a Panera and other restaurants next to the mall. Parking lot is huge and easy to get around. The only crowded lot is the one next to Ikea."

"Mall is clean and well maintained and never too crowded. They also have several areas where you could sit down and take a break," same reviewer said.
